Volunteer Head and Assistant Coaches
If you are an organized, high-energy and positive person, we encourage you to apply to be a volunteer head coach or assistant coach. Coaches will be responsible for running one practice and one game per week. Typically, the conference managers can accommodate a coach's weeknight schedule for practices, and games are played on Saturday mornings and afternoons.
The week before the season starts, a 90 minute coaching clinic will be held at Wilson Farm Park. Additional information for running practices can be found in the Coaches Resources.
Background Checks and Registration
Coaches are required to obtain the following documents and submit them electronically during the coach registration process.
EPYSA Risk Management Process
EPYSA has greatly changed its Risk Management process. Not only do you have to complete the RMA, You must upload a photo and take 2 (yes, TWO) online courses and upload the completion certificates. The first course is on Concussion safety and the second course is on Abuse. And, while they are long and sometime tedious - the information is so important! This is about the safety of our kids and not a subject to take lightly. Please be sure to set aside the hour to complete both trainings and upload your certificates.
Once complete, it is good for FIVE years.
