Teams

5th- 6th Grade teams are single sex and have players from both grades. Coaches and the Conference Manager will work together to create balanced teams. Twins of the same gender and grade will be placed on the same team. There is no residency requirement.

 

Special Requests

With roughly 1500 players, coach and teammate requests will not be honored unless there is a demonstrated need. Requests for exceptions to this policy should be sent to

The Season

The Fall season begins after Labor Day and concludes by mid-November. Teams will have a 1 hour practice at the coach's discretion during the week. Games last approximately 75 minutes on Saturdays with shorter makeup games on Sundays. Your coach will provide this information during the season. All practices and home games take place on T/E School District or Township fields. See the Field Assignments page for locations and addresses.

 

Rained out Games and Field Closures

Our fields are rented from TESD and Tredyffrin Township. Field closure information, when received from them,  will be posted on the home page. Saturday games will be played on Sunday and follow the rainout schedule. TEYSA and the coach(es) will work together to reschedule practices.

 

Equipment

Players will be given a soccer ball, team jersey, shorts and socks at the first practice. Players must wear shin guards during games and practices. Cleats, sneakers or turf shoes are recommended.
